Course Description:
A new course in Horticulture starts 4th May for 2morning a week Tues and Wed 10am-1pm. This course will run until December. It is located in the ALPHA Learning Centre, Meath VEC, Abbey Road, Navan.

This course will provide the learner with the basic knowledge and skills needed to grow and maintain a variety of plants.
What will be covered on this course?
The learner will be capable of preparing and cultivating a site suitable to organic food crop production and will have acquired skills in propagation, cultivation and harvesting of organic fruit and vegetable crops.
Who should apply for this course?
This course if FREE to early school leavers, people with social welfare payments or their dependents and medical card holders.
